With the final reveals on 15 May 2026, the main set of Abyss Eye is complete at 81 cards, Serebii reports. The Japanese set releases on 22 May, and its cards reach English-language markets on 17 July 2026 in Pitch Black.
Mega Darkrai ex and its support
The headliner is Mega Darkrai ex. Its first attack, Night Raid, deals 110 damage plus another 110 if any Pokémon on your own Bench has damage counters. Its signature attack, Abyss Eye, Knocks Out the opponent's Active Pokémon outright if it is affected by a Special Condition, PokeGuardian explains.
The set supplies the tools for that. The Item Dark Bell Confuses both Active Pokémon, except Darkness types, and Shadow Darkness Energy protects the Benched Darkness Pokémon it is attached to.
The set's Pokémon ex
Besides Mega Darkrai ex, the set has Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, Mega Excadrill ex, Rampardos ex, Wailord ex, Lurantis ex and Morpeko ex. Serebii has the full list.
Importing Japanese product gets more expensive from this set on: a five-card booster costs 200 yen instead of 180, PokeGuardian reports.
