filb.de, one of the oldest German-language Pokémon sites, has been offline since August 2026. Founder and operator Buoysel announced on 29 July that the site would close "in the course of August" after 27 years; his farewell note survives in the Internet Archive. The address now only reports that the site has been permanently removed.
Buoysel gave three reasons: the growing legal and organisational demands on a site that runs a forum, the rising effort needed to keep it secure, and visitor numbers that had been falling for a long time. The fan forum Schiggysboard passed the news on on 31 July.
The project does not disappear entirely. PokéWiki, which started as a sub-page of filb.de, continues on its own, and Buoysel plans to concentrate on it. For German-language card game news, fans still have sites such as Bisafans and PokeZentrum.
