Spain's Jose López won the Pokémon Special Championship in Turin on 6 and 7 June 2026 with a deck almost nobody played. Of the 383 players in the second phase, only three brought Hop's Trevenant; 2,033 had entered in total. Limitless has the standings, and PokeZentrum shows the winning lists.

Seven countries made the top eight, with Germany the only one represented twice. On numbers alone the event belonged to Dragapult: 150 of the 383 second-phase decks, or 39.16 percent, were Dragapult variants, according to the statistics. In the knockout rounds they reached only third and seventh place.
Decks that were rare in the second phase went further instead. Slowking and Raging Bolt with Ogerpon each had 21 lists, just over five percent of the field, and finished second and fourth. Alakazam with Dudunsparce – the deck Cerys Jones won the Indianapolis Regional with in May – took Jonathan Gorgos to sixth.
