Santa Cruz Skateboards will release 30 skate decks printed with Pokémon TCG card art on 17 October, sold only in sealed blind bags so buyers don't know which design they got until they open it. The drop starts at 9:00 ET, which is 15:00 in Central Europe, and the count of 30 is a nod to the game's 30th anniversary.
The lineup covers several eras. According to VGC, it includes the Base Set Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur as well as the Evolving Skies Umbreon VMAX that collectors call Moonbreon. On top of the 30 standard boards come three glitter-gold chase decks, each a collage of cards in several languages and capped at 500 copies worldwide. Every bag also holds a booklet showing all 30 designs. Santa Cruz has not said how many standard boards it is making.
There is no official price yet; PokeBeach expects around $110, the same as the first collaboration. That 2023 run had 20 designs and five gold decks of only 50 copies each, and it sold out in under five minutes. This time the boards go through the brand's website and select skate shops worldwide, alongside T-shirts and hoodies that carry the logo but no card art.
