PSA has released the full list of graded items stolen from a FedEx truck outside its Santa Ana grading centre on 13 October, and 2,978 of the 6,451 entries are Pokémon cards. In the same update the company confirmed that the FBI is investigating alongside Santa Ana police, and that it has handed over video, shipping manifests and item-level records.
Pokémon is by far the largest category on the list; One Piece follows with 898 items and basketball with 880, according to TheGamer's breakdown. Police put the value at roughly $963,000 but stress the figure is preliminary, and no arrests had been reported by 24 October.
For buyers anywhere, the practical point is the cert number. PSA says it has deactivated every stolen certificate and shared the list with marketplaces and auction houses, so a slab whose number no longer verifies should be treated with suspicion. Affected customers are being refunded their grading fees; compensation for the cards themselves is handled separately.
