Visitors to Lucca Comics & Games in Italy can collect a Pikachu promo card made for the festival's 60th edition, as The Pokémon Company announced on 8 October. The card carries the Lucca60 logo, and each ticket holder gets one copy at most, for as long as stock lasts.
The festival runs from 28 October to 1 November. Pokémon sets up in the Palestra Bacchettoni inside the old city walls, and attendees receive the card by having their badge scanned outside the stand or at several redemption points around town. According to PokéZentrum, the artwork is a reprint of the Pikachu from the Ascended Heroes expansion.
There is a second route for anyone who cannot get to Tuscany. Participating Play! Pokémon stores will also hand out the promo, between 31 October and 8 November according to PocketMonsters.net; the official page names no dates and points to the event locator instead. PokéZentrum speaks of Italian stores only, so it remains open whether shops elsewhere in Europe take part. Italian site Pokémon Millennium expects many shops to run play sessions over the festival weekend.
The stand itself also has a Play Lab where newcomers learn the card game and leave with a mini deck, plus a shop for accessories and plush.
